Returns & Refunds

Overview

At Redlite, we build products designed for long-term reliability. If something isn’t right with your order, we will work to resolve it quickly and fairly.

This policy operates alongside your rights under applicable consumer protection laws, including the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. Nothing in this policy limits or excludes rights you may have under those laws.


Change of Mind

Because Redlite products are produced and allocated through limited batch pre-orders, we generally do not accept returns for change of mind.

However, if your order has not yet entered production or dispatch, you may contact us and we may approve a cancellation at our discretion.

Once production has begun or the order has shipped, cancellations are typically not possible.


Faulty or Defective Products

If a product arrives faulty, damaged, or not functioning as intended, please contact us within 14 days of delivery.

Where a product has a genuine fault, Redlite will provide one of the following remedies in accordance with applicable consumer law:

• Repair
• Replacement
• Refund (if the issue cannot reasonably be resolved)

We may request photos, video, or diagnostic information to help assess the issue.


Consumer Guarantees Act (New Zealand)

If you purchased a Redlite product in New Zealand, the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 may apply.

Under the Act, consumers are entitled to remedies where goods fail to meet guarantees of acceptable quality, fitness for purpose, or match their description.

Where a failure is minor, we may choose to repair or replace the product.

Where a failure is substantial, you may be entitled to a refund or replacement.


Return Process

To request a return or warranty claim, please contact:

support@redlite.co

Include:

• Order number
• Description of the issue
• Photos or video if available

If a return is approved, we will provide instructions for returning the item.

Products must generally be returned:

• In original condition
• With included accessories where possible


Return Shipping

If the product is confirmed to be faulty or incorrect, Redlite will cover reasonable return shipping costs.

If a return is approved for other reasons, the customer may be responsible for return shipping costs.


Refund Timing

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout.

Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear once processed, depending on your payment provider.


International Orders

For orders shipped outside New Zealand, local consumer laws in the destination country may also apply. Nothing in this policy is intended to limit rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
