How Preorders Work
Redlite operates on a controlled production model.
Each camera is manufactured in scheduled batches once production capacity is reached. This ensures strict quality control and long term reliability.
When you place a preorder, your unit is secured in the next confirmed production run.
How It Works
1. Reserve Your Unit
Full payment is taken at checkout to secure your place in the current batch.
Orders are allocated in the order they are received.
Once production capacity is reached, manufacturing begins.
2. Production
Each batch goes through:
• Assembly
• Firmware configuration
• Functional testing
• Quality inspection
Only units that pass inspection move to dispatch.
3. Dispatch
Once production is complete and units arrive at our warehouse, orders are packed and shipped.
Tracking details are sent via email as soon as dispatch begins.
Timing
Production begins once the required batch quantity is reached.
Manufacturing and freight timelines depend on batch confirmation and international logistics.
Customers will be notified at key stages:
• Batch confirmed
• Production started
• Dispatch initiated
Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled before production begins.
Once manufacturing has started, cancellations may not be possible as units are allocated to confirmed orders.
After dispatch, returns are handled under our Returns Policy.
Why We Use Batch Production
This approach allows us to:
• Maintain tighter quality control
• Improve firmware before release
• Reduce excess inventory
• Deliver a more reliable product
Redlite is built for long term ownership, not rapid mass production.
